How to restore antique rusty Knife? I bought this old rusty knife for $5 at a local flea market. Judging by the rust layer, the knife was lying in some shed for a long time. I think the knife was artisanal. The handle of the knife was made of textolite, and the rivets were made of aluminum. The knife is 35 cm long and weighs 200 grams. I replaced the textile handle with an oak handle and covered it with two layers of mink, and then processed it with flaxseed oil. The rivets have been replaced with brass ones. I can assume it's a rough work knife. Perfect restoration project!
